Smartask is a knowledge assistant interface concept designed to support users in searching, exploring, and interacting with information in a structured and intuitive way. This case study focuses on improving how users engage with query-based systems by reducing friction in input, response clarity, and navigation. The objective was to create a seamless experience where users can easily ask questions, review results, and continue their exploration without confusion. The design approach included: Structuring input and response flows for better usability Designing clear interaction patterns for query-based navigation Establishing a minimal and distraction-free interface Improving readability and content hierarchy for faster understanding The final outcome highlights a clean, focused interface that supports efficient information discovery while maintaining a consistent and user-friendly experience.
