I Made Claude Animate a Full SaaS UI in After Effects (Editable Layers, No Plugins)
Project description
A full SaaS UI animation, built inside After Effects with every layer editable — in about 40 minutes instead of a full day. The workflow: design the UI in Figma, export it as SVG, hand it to Claude or ChatGPT with a custom skill, and get back a JSX script that builds the entire animation inside After Effects. Compositions, layers, keyframes, all sorted properly. Then the part AI can't do. The script gets you to roughly 80%. I take it the rest of the way — 3D camera movement, animated gradient stroke with taper and glow, masked background, graph editor easing, title animation and the timing judgment that makes UI animation feel expensive instead of mechanical. You also control the sequence. I specify it in the prompt: base plate scales up first with a drop shadow, then the left sidebar, then each element inside it, then the AI search panel, then rolling numbers on the figures. It builds exactly that.
