LEOLEO Studio — 3D & Motion for the Studio Website

Project description

LEOLEO is the Paris studio where I was the in-house 3D and motion designer for three years. Making your own studio site is a strange brief. No client to convince, no budget to defend. The only thing keeping you honest is that the site has to prove what the studio sells rather than describe it. So we let the name do the work. I built all the 3D in the header: the same six letters, rebuilt in a different scenes and materials every time. LEOLEO as a run of pipes. LEOLEO in leopard fur, which is the kind of joke a studio called LEOLEO gets to make. LEOLEO as balloons, inflating. One word, one studio, and a different answer every time you land on the page. That's the range being demonstrated, not claimed. I also did the motion design across the whole site. Awwwards singled out three elements: the landing homepage, the case study modals, and the expertise scroll hover. Site of the Day on Awwwards, June 2025, and Site of the Day CSS Design Awards. LEOLEO went on to be nominated Studio of the Year 2026.
