Empathetic Information Architecture: I implemented a soft, airy visual hierarchy using plenty of white space and warm earth tones. This creates a "safe space" for users, ensuring that the subject matter of recovery is presented with dignity and lightness. Dual-Purpose Content Strategy: There is a need to balance the author's personal narrative with a functional eCommerce experience. I engineered a "Best Selling Books" module with a minimalist grid, allowing the vibrant book covers to act as the primary visual drivers. Reflective Blog Ecosystem: I developed the "From the Crooked Fence" section—a space for short reflections. This layout uses card-based components and readable typography to encourage community building around the author's ongoing journey. Seamless Accessibility & Lead Gen: The UI is optimized with multiple touchpoints for engagement, from the memoir newsletter signup to the "Get In Touch" contact system. This ensures that readers and collaborators can connect with the author frictionless.
