A scroll-driven journey into the tomb of Tutankhamun. What if scrolling through a website could feel like physically descending into an ancient tomb? Scroll Through Doom is an experimental interactive web experience that turns the browser into an archaeological journey. The experience unfolds through seven chapters — from the Egyptian necropolis and the Avenue of Columns to the burial chamber and Tutankhamun's golden coffin. The interface, environmental transitions, illustrations, sound, cursor interaction and narrative are designed to make the act of scrolling feel like part of the story. The final interaction asks the user to physically disturb the coffin — turning the passive act of browsing into a moment of consequence. Built as an exploration of what becomes possible when AI-assisted development, visual storytelling, interaction design and cinematic art direction come together in a single web experience. Best experienced on desktop with headphones.
