🎨 525 covers later... I think I finally cracked it.
Project description
For almost 10 years I’ve been designing the covers for our Weekly Designers Update. Yeah, I do that too. 🤷♂️ One small weekly task that somehow turned into a decade-long creative marathon. Some weeks it’s quick and effortless, other weeks you can stare at it for hours and still have no idea where it’s going. Simple on paper, tougher in reality. This year, I finally found a way to make it fun again, mostly thanks to AI (hopefully no AI haters around here). The idea is simple: I usually pick two small bits of content from the weekly post and build a visual mashup inspired by them. It keeps things fresh, makes sense with the article, and somehow still surprises me every time. I’m guessing 99% of people never noticed it, but like a good song or a well-written poem, once you understand what it’s really about, you suddenly connect to it on a whole different level. I like to believe it’s the same here (just giving myself a little pat on the back). And even if not, at least it makes my job easier and a lot more fun. AI didn’t replace my creativity, it just made it better. At least for now.
