Bitmela | Brand Identity Design
Project description
Bitmela is a cultural Bitcoin mela designed to make money feel public, physical, and understandable. The project began with one simple idea: Make Bitcoin Real. Instead of treating Bitcoin as a technical subject trapped behind screens, Bitmela turns it into a walkable experience where people can learn, shop, play, ask questions, make payments, and understand money through the familiarity of an Indian mela. The identity moves away from generic crypto visuals and builds its world through Indian public-money culture: bahi khata ledgers, receipts, tickets, stamps, currency borders, mela signage, textile grids, game stalls, QR codes, and block-based maps. The visual system works like a woven ledger, where every tile, route, stall, and motif becomes part of a larger network. At its core, Bitmela is more than an event brand. It is a way of making Bitcoin feel less intimidating and more human: social, tactile, curious, useful, and open to everyone willing to ask better questions about money.
