Somethings are worth going the extra mile for. This project began as a collaboration with the GitHub team in India, conceptualised and crafted with such care and detail that we felt we were within touching distance of the finish line. Yet, at the very last moment, external circumstances meant it had to be shelved. Even then, we couldn’t bring ourselves to place it on our RIP list and move on. We were too invested in the story we had built, too fond of the idea to let it fade away quietly. Revisiting the RIP list recently, it was clear that this storyline that we had visualised deserved another run. This time, we chose to reincarnate it, reimagining the experience in Three.js and React, and pushing into territories we hadn’t explored, deliberately stepping into complexity we hadn’t taken on before.
