Loopspeed was tasked with bringing the Pelican Constellation, a next-generation satellite network designed to deliver rapid-response, ultra-high-resolution data, to life through an engaging interactive experience. The solution took the form of a dynamic 3D model, enabling users to explore the satellite constellation in detail. Viewers could zoom into the satelite, rotate and interact with it, and trigger animations that demonstrated key functionalities. For example, satellites could be seen extending and contracting their wings, highlighting their adaptability and engineering precision. To showcase the constellation’s global impact, Loopspeed integrated Google Maps zoom-in functionality. This feature allowed users to transition seamlessly from a satellite’s orbital path to real-world locations, visually demonstrating how Pelican satellites observe and cover areas of interest around the globe. By combining 3D interactivity, animation, and geospatial visualisation, Loopspeed created an immersive experience that effectively communicated the capabilities, agility, and mission value of the Pelican Constellation.
