From a card to a transformer.

Project description

The last card of the night set opens a page of its own. A spaceship built from the logo hovers over a small piece of planet surface, and one switch turns it into a robot almost 16 metres tall and back again. Every part moves live in the browser, so it can be watched from any side, and the sound is computed from the motion itself. This film starts on the card. The light ring on the platform follows the eyes of the model: white while it is a ship, red once the robot stands. When it touches down, red light spreads outward across the rings on the ground. Custom HTML, CSS, WebGL and Web Audio, without a framework or a 3D library. Concept, design and 3D in Figma and Blender, code written together with Claude.
