BLINK — Live Late-Night Broadcast

Project description

BLINK is a live late-night sketch comedy show's actual on-air broadcast graphics package — everything a viewer sees during one real episode, from pre-show countdown to sign-off. Every graphic traces back to genuine broadcast-engineering apparatus: the ON AIR tally light's physical glow and flicker-on behavior, real SMPTE color-bar signal colors, authentic scan-line and countdown-leader conventions. Nothing is decorative motion-graphics flourish — every visual element is grounded in how a real live broadcast signal actually looks and behaves. The project spans one real episode's chronological runtime: pre-show, opening monologue, sketch introductions, commercial breaks, lower-thirds, segment IDs, closing bumpers, sign-off. Studio floor, control room, camera rigs, live audience, tally light system, all carrying genuine broadcast density. This is what television actually looks like when you stop designing it and start engineering it. M N LOKESHWAR REDDY, Creative Director
