CALIFORNIA COAST — A Nospoon Collection

Project description

Summer is not just a season; it’s a texture. "CALIFORNIA COAST" is a graphic exploration of the Pacific shoreline, merging Abstract Brush Strokes with Swiss Typography. Moving away from strict geometric grids, this collection embraces the fluid, organic nature of the ocean. We used digital brush textures to "mask" the photography, creating a dynamic interplay between the image and the negative space. The Collection Explores: Santa Monica & Venice: The vibrant energy of the pier captured through bold red accents and kinetic type. Laguna & El Matador: The serene, romantic atmosphere of the cliffs represented by fluid blue washes. Catalina Island: A tropical interpretation using palm silhouettes and distressed textures.
