SURFACE / 78 — Modular Geometry & Urban Data Narratives
Project description
This poster series explores how surfaces — architectural, urban, digital, and atmospheric — behave as coded structures. Each composition blends photography with modular geometry, pseudo-engineering diagrams, micro-typographic grids, and language fragments inspired by Japanese and Western design systems. The collection includes 8 unique surfaces: – abstract directional commands and topographic textures – typography as structure (UNI-QUE, SURFACE, ROUTE, 78) – blueprint-like modular diagrams – metro and city-light photography from Tokyo and NYC – data-aesthetic overlays, dotted matrices, and coordinate markers – minimal teal, cyan, and red accent logic Every poster is built in A3 proportions using a layered vector workflow. The project studies how cities, languages, diagrams, and materials all form “surfaces” — visual fields that hide information beneath structure.
