It's essentially a "buy now, pay later" system specifically designed for consumer electronics. Project Overview: Role: Lead Product Designer Duration: 2 months Platform: Web Dashboard + Mobile Agent App Industry: Fintech × Retail × Device Management The Challenge: In emerging markets like Nigeria, smartphones and laptops remain out of reach for millions due to high upfront costs. Traditional financing options are either nonexistent or riddled with bureaucracy, requiring extensive paperwork and lengthy approval processes. Meanwhile, retailers struggle with high default rates when they attempt informal credit arrangements. The opportunity: Design an end-to-end device financing platform that makes technology accessible while protecting all stakeholders through smart risk management.
