Wild at night

Project description

We often see many model photos shot in dark studios using step lighting, and I started wondering—why not try an animal photoshoot? Every day, I see a horse in my hometown(Chinnasalem, Tamil nadu, India). A man rides with his horse and bull, so I asked him if I could do a photoshoot with them. He agreed. I was very excited after getting his permission. However, I am new to photography and have very little experience handling continuous lighting, even with people. Still, I gathered all my courage. Once I reached the location, I realized the situation was completely different. The animals were uncomfortable seeing me and became anxious after noticing the light and reflector. I tried shooting using just a single light source and my camera, but it took a long time to get even one decent shot of Kala Madu. The horse was extremely scared. I tried to capture whatever was possible at that moment.
