Project description

A conceptual Smart Home mobile app UI focused on clarity, hierarchy, and effortless control. The goal was to reduce cognitive load while managing multiple smart devices in a single ecosystem. Screen 01 — Onboarding / Entry Screen Purpose: First impression + value proposition This screen introduces the app with a minimal, futuristic visual language to instantly communicate security and intelligence. - Strong headline to establish trust - Visual focus on smart surveillance to anchor the concept - Clear CTA (“Let’s Start”) to reduce friction - Dark theme used intentionally to suggest safety, privacy, and premium tech 👉 Objective: Make users feel in control from the first second. Screen 02 — Smart Home Dashboard Purpose: Central control hub The dashboard acts as the command center for the entire home. - Card-based layout to separate environments and devices - Live home preview to create spatial context - Priority controls (AC, lights, devices) surfaced immediately - Temperature and toggle interactions designed for one-hand usage - Visual depth + soft shadows to guide attention naturally 👉 Objective: Allow users to scan, decide, and act in seconds. Screen 03 — Live Room / Device Control Purpose: Real-time interaction & environment awareness This screen focuses on direct interaction with a physical space. - Full-screen live view to enhance immersion - Floating controls to avoid blocking visual context - Minimal icons to keep the experience distraction-free - Warm lighting contrast to balance the dark UI system 👉 Objective: Make smart control feel human, not mechanical. Design System Highlights - Dark-first UI for reduced eye strain - Soft gradients and depth for modern feel - Rounded components to suggest friendliness over rigidity - Motion-ready layout (designed with transitions in mind) This concept was designed 3 years ago, but it still represents my early thinking around UX hierarchy and interaction clarity. Since then, my approach has evolved — deeper systems thinking, real-world constraints, and business impact — but this project marks an important step in that journey. Want to build something similar?
