Coffee Shop Hero Section Design – Mellow

Project description

Most coffee shop websites either feel rushed or forgettable: loud sale banners, generic stock photos, nothing that actually feels like a place you'd want to sit down in. Mellow is a coffee lounge concept built around one idea: slowing down. This hero section was designed to be the first five seconds of that feeling, a calm, warm visual paired with a headline that says exactly what the brand stands for: "Where Coffee Meets Calm." The layout keeps things simple on purpose: a bold, condensed headline for presence, a short line of supporting copy, and two clear actions, Reserve a Table for visitors and Shop Coffee Beans for people who just want the coffee at home. A soft, shallow depth-of-field product shot anchors the whole page, sharp where it matters, quiet everywhere else. The visual language leans into deep burgundy, warm gold, and a soft cream base, paired with a bold condensed display font for headlines and a clean sans-serif for everything else, giving the page energy without losing that calm, unhurried feeling.
