Project description
This project was commissioned by a client who wanted to create a premium brand specializing in luxury cookware and kitchenware. The brief was to design an identity that reflects elegance, love, sharing, and uncompromising quality. The client’s vision was to build a brand that not only celebrates the art of cooking but also conveys the deeper values that bring people together — warmth, family, and the joy of sharing meals. To achieve this, I explored cultural and historical references that embody these values. After extensive research, I found that Roman civilization perfectly aligned with the essence of the brand. The Romans were not only passionate about food, but they also valued family gatherings, sharing, artistry, and innovation in their culinary practices. Their designs were timeless, functional, and elegant — making Roman heritage the ideal foundation for this project. Thus, Nestoria was born: A brand identity inspired by the symbolism of the bird’s nest — a metaphor for love.
