I’m close to hitting the six‑month mark at Voy, and we’ve already done a lot of cool stuff. Aand I’m happy to share one we just launched. About pages sound boring at first, but when you develop a page that truly shows who we are and what we stand for as a company, using brand elements, motion, and design to express that, it becomes a beautiful presentation letter to our customers and the world. I especially like how in this one we could blend “old” tools and methods (animating in Blender or After Effects) with AI tools like Gemini and Claude Code to create content and develop beautiful interactions, such as our interactive hero or the rainbow hover. The balance of tools and methods used on this page is where I see us designers evolving: having superpowers to create, but we still learn, practise, push, and develop a good eye for aesthetics. Essentially not letting AI tools design on autopilot, but using every resource available to make designs with intention and purpose.
