This chat screen explores the balance between simplicity and depth—something critical for AI-focused applications. My goal was to create a layout where long AI-generated messages feel digestible, not dense. Using generous spacing, visual grouping, and a subtle dark palette, I reduced the cognitive load that often comes with information-heavy conversations. I also refined micro-states: inactive vs active input bar, alignment shifts for system responses vs user prompts, and quiet timestamps that don’t interrupt flow. These details collectively create a smoother narrative inside the chat experience. At its core, this design centers on user comfort and clarity. It’s not just another chat screen—it’s a structured environment for thinking, exploring, and interacting with AI in an effortless way.
