OTT Streaming Mobile App - Movie Detail Screen Design

This Movie Detail Screen Design is the part of a larger OTT Streaming Mobile App Project. Designing for OTT platforms always raises an interesting challenge: how do you make a single screen carry information, emotion, and conversion all at once? This Movie Detail Screen was my attempt to balance those three pillars. The composition starts with an immersive hero banner that instantly pulls the viewer into the movie’s world. Everything below is structured around quick clarity — the movie’s title, year, rating, and genre indicators are arranged in a hierarchy that reduces scanning time. The “Play Now” CTA is placed strategically where the thumb naturally rests, making action seamless. To enhance discovery, I integrated cast modules, similar titles, and horizontal content sections designed for fast swiping. Each component follows a consistent visual rhythm, helping users glide smoothly through the experience. Dark mode readability and contrast were key considerations to ensure usability in a cinematic environment. The overall result aims to feel premium, modern, and emotionally engaging.
