Designing a Brand That Speaks Without Words When a close friend reached out, asking me to create a logo for his new menswear line, he dropped a name I’d never encountered before: Corlando. It was distinctive, catchy, and had all the makings of a strong brand. But with no defined meaning behind it, I hit a creative pause. How do you give visual life to a name with no built-in narrative? So, I took a step back and asked: What does this brand feel like? Digging into its core values—strength, sophistication, trust, and timelessness—I landed on a symbol that encapsulated it all: the horse. Why a horse? Because a horse is more than just an elegant animal. It embodies raw power, resilience, and poise. More than that, it stands for loyalty and partnership—qualities that resonate with a menswear brand aiming to project quiet confidence and authenticity. The final Corlando logo is a blend of symbolism and story—proof that even when a name is unfamiliar, you can still build a powerful identity around it. 🧠✨ Branding is about crafting meaning—even when none exists at the start.
