Behind every seamless checkout is a system designed to convert. Today, I’m sharing the full design system overview for Lustro, a digital commerce platform crafted specifically for high-end fashion, jewelry, and lifestyle brands.This isn't just a digital storefront; it's a scalable UI architecture built to balance high-fashion editorial storytelling with hard-hitting conversion metrics.🛍️ The UX Challenge:Lifestyle brands often suffer from the "Lookbook vs. Store" dilemma. Beautiful editorial sites are usually hard to shop on, and high-conversion sites often look cheap. Our goal was to merge brand equity with utility—creating a structure that builds desire through storytelling while offering the robust filtering needed for effortless purchasing.✨ Key Design Decisions:Narrative-Driven Commerce: We engineered a layout that intertwines editorial content (lookbooks, material transparency) directly with product grids. This contextualizes the product, increasing perceived value.Visual Hierarchy: Utilizing a refined, minimalist typographic scale to ensure the product photography remains the absolute hero.
